This is a dream come true! We added Orion as our herd sire in 2025. I was looking long and hard for the right buck that was straight out of a standard Nubian doe and crossed with a Mini-Nubian buck. My goal is to bring in new blood for milk production, correct conformation and strong Nubian characteristics in a smaller package. Orion comes from a long line of champions and milk production from both sides. He has long ears, long bodied, roman nose and a pedigree with well attached udders and teat placement. Orion has a great personality, and he is so gentle and kind! So far his 2026 kids have been full of personality with great temperaments. And to top things off, just look at him! Moon spots galore and blue eyes!  Orion's sire has Soaring Heart's, Green Gables, Echo Hills, Cedar Creek and Goat Trails in his lineage. His Sire Blue Cashmere has won the 2025 MDGA Senior Buck, Grand Champion, 2024 MDGA Senior Buck, Reserve Champion and has also won the 2022 MDGA Junior Buck, reserve Champion. He just needs one more to make permanent champion! Cashmere has just had a second daughter earn her MDGA 305 days Milk Star as a first freshener! So he is on his way to earning his *B! Orion's dam is said to be easy to hand milk and has a kind gentle disposition. Harmony has a lovely topline, great rear angulation, strong pasterns and beautiful breed characteristics. Both of her parents are finished champions! And her owner at Mini Love Farm, Kathy is going to put her on milk test in 2026 in hopes to earn her milk star!
